This is a MODEL Code of Ethics — please have it reviewed by your own counsel. The firm builds relationships grounded in integrity, technical excellence, and results — to serve clients and society. This Code of Ethics and Conduct reflects the principles that guide how we work and relate to others.
It applies to all partners, employees, interns, suppliers, and partners acting on behalf of Leandro Escobar Advogados.

02.Professional conduct
We act with honesty, competence, and commitment to quality and to agreed deadlines. We do not tolerate fraud, false representation, plagiarism, or misappropriation of third-party work.
03.Relationship with clients
We handle client information confidentially and use it only for agreed purposes. We avoid and disclose conflict-of-interest situations, and we do not take on work that would compromise our impartiality or the trust placed in us.
04.Relationship with suppliers and partners
We select suppliers and partners based on fair, technical criteria, promote fair competition, and maintain relationships built on respect and the fulfillment of commitments.
05.Work environment
We maintain a safe, respectful environment free of harassment, discrimination, or intimidation. We promote diversity, listening, and people's development.
06.Advertising and client solicitation
Our practice and communications follow the OAB's Code of Ethics and Discipline and Provimento No. 205/2021, which prohibit mercantile client solicitation, promises of results, and sensationalist promotion. This website is for informational purposes only.
07.Anti-corruption and conflicts of interest
We do not offer, promise, solicit, or accept undue advantages, in compliance with Law No. 12,846/2013 (Brazil's Anti-Corruption Law). Gifts and courtesies must be reasonable and must never influence decisions. Conflicts of interest, real or apparent, must be disclosed.
08.Confidentiality and data protection
We protect confidential information and personal data we have access to, handling it securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Brazil's LGPD data protection law.
09.Reporting channel
Violations of this Code may be reported confidentially and without retaliation by e-mail at leandroescobar@leandroescobar.com.br. Every good-faith report is investigated seriously and confidentially.
10.Effective date
This Code takes effect upon publication and may be revised periodically. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
